Alaska's Deska River Lodge
Alaska's Deshka River Lodge is nestled along the east bank of the Deshka River, 60 air miles north west of Anchorage and is only accessible by plane or boat. This remote facility uses a hybrid renewable energy system to supply power to all of its rooms, appliances, equipment and lighting.
The renewable energy system incorporates alternative solar and diesel power inputs that accumulate into a large battery storage system. The twin inverter system can provide over 11,000 watts of AC power.
