Fox Island

Located at the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, Kenai Fjords Tours' Fox Island Facility uses a hybrid renewable energy system to supply clean, quiet and efficient power to all of the appliances, equipment and lighting.

This renewable energy system incorporates alternative wind, solar and diesel power inputs that accumulate into a large battery storage system.  Over 10,000 watts of AC power can be provided through the twin inverter system.
